2016 Program graduation ceremony

Since 2008 we have supported the work of the BVSD Teen Parent and Early Childhood Learning Program.  Located at Arapahoe Ridge High School the Program provides an opportunity for young parents to stay in school, learn parenting skills, remain close and accessible to their children and above all graduate.

Zonta Foothills Club has provided the program emergency funds for the students which have helped with things like:

Our members participate on the program’s community advisory board, help run mock interviewing sessions to help the teens as they venture out on a job hunt and their annual graduation ceremony. Zonta also created two Family Reading Libraries at Arapahoe Ridge High School. one is  be available to all of the teen moms, the nursery staff and of course, the children in the Early Childhood Learning Center.  The other is available to the entire Arapahoe Ridge community.
