The Zonta EducateZ Scholarship

This scholarship was created by The Zonta Foothills Club of Boulder County and The Zonta Foothills Foundation to help women who face financial barriers to higher education. Zonta EducateZ Scholarship awards are made to further the post-secondary education of a woman student who wants to return to college, university, professional or trade school or any accredited institution.

The PantherZ Z Club Scholarship

This scholarship was created in recognition of our Boulder High School PantherZ Z Club’s dedication to the mission of Zonta. Recipients must be members in good standing for at least two years and have served a leadership role. It was created to help Z Club members pursue post secondary education.

Young Women in Public Affairs Award (YWPA)

The Young Women in Public Affairs Award was created to encourage young women’s participation in public affairs. The award recognizes a commitment to the volunteerism and community, evidence of volunteer leadership achievements and a dedication to the advancement of the status of women. We award a local high school student annually and our winner is then sent on the to the district level for consideration.

The Z Club Education Fund

The Golden Z Club Education Fund provides support to women completing their education, who have demonstrated commitment to Zonta’s mission through participation in our Flatirons Golden Z Club. Funds can support educational expenses for attending post secondary school including, transportion, fees, books, liscensure costs and other costs.

Bev Sears Climate Action Scholarship

The Bev Sears Climate Action Scholarship is an annual scholarship of up to $2,000. It is offered to women attending the University of Colorado, Boulder who are pursuing undergraduate degrees in engineering, environmental-related studies, natural resources, conservation, climate sciences and any other subject areas impacting climate action.

Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship

This scholarship recognizes a woman pursuing an undergraduate or master's degree in business management. Our club awards funds at a local level and the winner is then a candidate for awards at both the District and Zonta International level. The recipient is awarded for work to overcome gender barriers from the classroom to the boardroom.

The Bev Hackbart Scholarship

This scholarship was established in 2004 in memory of long-standing club member, Bev Hackbart who was passionate about supporting women in their education and their careers. This endowed scholarship is awarded annually to assist in the education of a single parent enrolled at the University of Colorado.

The Amelia Earhart Fellowship

This Zonta International Fellowship was established in 1938 to honor of famed pilot and Zontian, Amelia Earhart. It is awarded annually to women pursuing PhD in aerospace-related sciences or aerospace-related engineering. The Fellowship of US$10,000 is awarded to 35 Fellows around the globe each year and since 2010 Zonta International has awarded more than 20 fellowships to woman enrolled at the University of Colorado Boulder.
